Wine:

The 2021 Alsace Pinot Gris Réserve, showcasing lovely maturity with notes of yellow fruits and cardamom, beautifully expresses the smoothness and ripeness of the varietal in a very fine, tangy trail. Originating from old vines in Brand and Heimbourg, set between granite and clay-limestone soils, this refined Pinot Gris is simply irresistible. Suitable for aging over six years and more, it is perfect for an aperitif or the start of a meal. Rated 93/100 by the Committee.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested from vines aged 35 to 70 years. Whole-berry pressing, static settling, no thermoregulation, 2-6 months fermentation on lees. Aged 11 months on lees.

Nose:

Intensely fragrant with aromas of yellow fruit and a touch of cardamom.

Palate:

Expressing the sweetness and ripeness of the grape variety, with a fine, acidic aftertaste on a refined whole.
