Roche de Bellene is an elite house. Its founder, Nicolas Potel, makes some of the most sensual wines in Burgundy. Very old vines, organic farming… are all finely regulated parameters that forge wines of great caliber, filled with sincere and abundant flavors of fruit. 

The level reached today is simply astonishing, and Olivier Poussier is enthusiastic about each of his wines. Even the regional ones reach an enviable level of quality... Enjoy these 2 burgundy wines at a bargain price, on two beautiful vintages. A rarity ! 

The 2015 White Burgundy is an exceptional, fully mature Chardonnay. It reveals a lovely ripeness balanced by refreshing acidity, with floral aromas in the forefront and supported by a chalky minerality. On the palate, it is full and expansive, offering a generous, well-integrated texture. There’s a refined hint of bitterness, and while it can age gracefully for another 2 to 3 years, it’s ready to enjoy now with freshwater fish, a salmon terrine, or cod in beurre blanc. A Selection Committee Favorite, rated 92/100.

The 2021 Red Burgundy Pinot Noir celebrates fresh, vibrant notes of red berries like raspberry and morello cherry, with a subtle touch of oak. The palate is elegant, silky, crisp, and finely structured, with delicate tannins. This cuvée shines with its harmony and approachable character. Rated 92/100 by the Selection Committee.
