Rated 94/100 by Parker, the 2021 Red Navarra Malayeto is an enchanting wine from a small 3-hectare parcel of high-quality Grenache that consistently yields fine, refreshing juice. In this well-ripened vintage, it reveals aromas of red fruit, peony, and potpourri, with a delicate and refined structure—round and luscious, with well-integrated tannins. A beautiful expression of pure Grenache, showcasing finesse and balance. A superb wine to cellar for a decade. The Selection Committee’s Favorite!

Spain, a magnificent source of hidden gems, continues to delight and surprise us. In the northern region of Navarra, the terroir offers a rich diversity, with high-altitude vineyards drawing in the essential freshness.

Viña Zorzal has made its mark here, and their skill does the rest: for over thirty years, this family-run bodega, led by Antonio Sanz, has crafted wines of remarkable balance, offering incredible value and showcasing local grape varieties.
