Wine:
From estate-owned vineyards, the 2018 Red Santenay Premier Cru La Comme comes from a plot bordering the Morgeot Premier Cru of Chassagne-Montrachet. Aged for an extended period in barrel, it reveals radiant, ripe, and beautifully pure fruit flavours, all wrapped in just the right amount of freshness. Notes of ripe fruit, spices, and liquorice, with a subtle toasted hint, weave through a dense, structured, and spicy texture, impressing with its depth and velvety tannins. A truly remarkable wine. A favourite of the Selection Committee, rated 97/100.Vinification:

A prestigious name, crowned with the highest praise from critics, Domaine Jacques Prieur shines among the stars of French winemaking. Its success and reputation are inseparable from the guiding hand of Nadine Gublin, the estate’s winemaker since 1990, who has crafted a style known for its precision, energy, and uncompromising character.
Alongside the estate wines, the house also nurtures a small négociant activity under the name Labruyère-Prieur — though in truth, it is much the same story, with most of the vineyards owned by the estate itself and the wines vinified by Nadine Gublin in person.
