Wine:

A tribute wine, the 2020 Côtes de Provence Cuvée Marius Rosé brings together the best plots of tibouren. It's a great gourmet rosé, aged in casks, with complex notes of candied fruit, citrus and spices, and a powerful, broad structure. A wine to wait a little longer before pairing with spicy tomato risotto or barbecued lobster. A great rosé for aging, up to 10 years!

Vinification:

Hand harvested, vinified in new oak barrels, temperature-controlled fermentation, indigenous yeast, stirred for 4 months, aged for 2 years on lees.

Color:

Brick-red rosé with orange highlights.

Nose:

A beautiful aromatic expression marked by a fruity yet spicy character. Hints of pit fruit, wild berries and minerality are combined with well-controlled oak.

Palate:

This is a rosé with a real personality, revealing character, a full, ample texture and a beautiful, round finish with long-lasting aromas.

Temperature:

Enjoy between 8 and 10°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Grilled red mullet, rock fish, seafood linguine with tomatoes, pasta dishes with chorizo and tomatoes.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2034

Awarded 1 star by the RVF Guide, Clos Cibonne remains an undeniable and unmatched gem of Provence. This historic estate, nestled by the sea and certified organic, thrives on a unique terroir where the Tibouren grape truly shines. An ancient, local variety found nowhere else, Tibouren produces highly distinctive wines that showcase the region’s great potential.

The rosés, in particular, stand out from the rest with their texture, depth, and subtlety, striking a perfect balance between Provençal tradition and modernity. The reds are equally impressive, offering the same level of refinement and distinctive style.
