The 2017 Red Chambolle-Musigny shows lovely intensity and ripe maturity, with a delicate, understated style that's immediately appealing. Subtle hints of forest floor add depth to this refined Pinot Noir, which is already in a perfect drinking window. It’s beautifully balanced, with fine tannins and a restrained touch of oak, finishing with elegant notes of rose and cherry. A charming wine to enjoy over the next three years.Vinification:
Hand harvested, vatted for 8 to 15 days, aged for 8 to 10 months in French oak barrels (of which 15 to 20% are new).Color:
