The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Founded in 1731, Bouchard Père et Fils has built one of the most impressive vineyard portfolios in all of Burgundy, acquiring the finest and best-located parcels across the region over the centuries.

Clos Vougeot, Chevalier-Montrachet, Bonnes-Mares, Beaune Grèves Vigne de l'Enfant Jésus, Pommard, Meursault, and Chambolle-Musigny are among its most famous and coveted crus.
Wine The 2017 Red Chambolle-Musigny shows lovely intensity and ripe maturity, with a delicate, understated style that's immediately appealing. Subtle hints of forest floor add depth to this refined Pinot Noir, which is already in a perfect drinking window. It’s beautifully balanced, with fine tannins and a restrained touch of oak, finishing with elegant notes of rose and cherry. A charming wine to enjoy over the next three years.
Vinification Hand harvested, vatted for 8 to 15 days, aged for 8 to 10 months in French oak barrels (of which 15 to 20% are new).
