The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Michel Chapoutier is the undisputed star of the Rhône Valley, with a phenomenal lineup of crus that speak volumes about his vision for fine wine. A pioneering ambassador of biodynamic viticulture, he’s a winemaker guided by instinct, and globally acclaimed for the precision and consistency of his work.

His terroir-driven cuvées are the epitome of complexity and elegance, crafted for both cellaring and deep emotion. Nowhere is this more evident than in Hermitage—his spiritual home—where he produces legendary single-vineyard wines that have become true benchmarks of the appellation.
Wine Rated 99+/100 by Parker and widely considered the wine of the vintage, the 2015 Ermitage Le Pavillon is one of Michel Chapoutier’s most iconic cuvées. Sourced from the granite-rich soils of the Bessards hillside, this spectacular Red captures the very essence of Hermitage—aromatic, intense, and almost otherworldly.

It strikes a rare balance between power and grace, with ultra-fine tannins and a finish that feels endless. This is granite expressed in its purest, most demanding form—an astonishingly precise wine from start to finish, like a winemaker’s quest for perfection brought to life. A truly great bottle, built to age gracefully for decades.
Vinification Hand harvested and aged in oak barrels for 18 to 20 months, with an average of 30% new barrels.

Certified organic and biodynamic wine.
