Wine:

The 2023 Red IGP Collines Rhodaniennes Syrah is a deliciously inviting wine, bursting with fresh, vibrant fruit flavors. Pure and alluring notes of violet, black pepper, and black fruits shine through with remarkable clarity. The tannins are silky, and the gentle oak aging brings just a touch of spice and roundness, enhancing the wine’s supple, honest character.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, 100% destemmed. Fermentation in temperature-controlled concrete vats, regular pumping over and punching down. Aged for 12 months in used French oak barrels, tangential filtration before bottling.

Color:

Ruby red with purple highlights.

Nose:

Aromas of black fruits mixed with notes of pepper, violet and hints of eucalyptus and menthol.

Palate:

On the palate, this wine is pure and fresh, with ripe, juicy fruit flavors. It offers a supple, generous texture and an honest, vibrant expression of high-altitude northern Syrah.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.
