The 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin Red unfolds with striking finesse, opening on ripe aromas of wild raspberry and pink pepper. The palate is compact and focused, offering a concentrated core supported by firm tannins and excellent balance. Notes of red berries dominate, fresh and precise, carried by a taut, well-structured frame. This is a serious, refined wine, impeccably made and built to age beautifully for up to 10 years. Hand harvested. Vines average 40 years old. Fermentation with 100% indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. 100% malolactic fermentation. Aged for 12 months in oak barrels (50% new) and 4 months in stainless steel vats before bottling.Color:
