Anchored by equal parts Roussanne and Marsanne, and crafted from six parcels spanning the length of the appellation, the 2023 White Saint-Joseph Dimanche à Lima is a beautifully textured wine. Its aromatic profile, with notes of apricot and yellow flowers, reflects ripe grapes in a clear, pure, and precise bouquet. A rising star of the Rhône Valley and awarded 1 star by RVF, Julien Pilon has captured the attention of even the most discerning enthusiasts, making his wines highly sought after. Having trained with some of the greats—Yves Cuilleron, Pierre Gaillard, Pierre-Jean Villa, and Mas Amiel—he brings a refined, terroir-focused approach to his winemaking.
His wines from the finest northern Rhône Valley appellations delight fans of freshness and purity, with whites known for their incredible precision and reds that are equally impressive. The downside? His success, combined with limited production, makes availability a challenge.
