Wine:

RSRV Blanc de Noirs 2014 is made from Pinot Noir from Verzenay, a Grand Cru located north of the Montagne de Reims. The typicality and minerality of this terroir produce a straightforward, powerful Pinot Noir, giving this cuvée its elegance and aromatic complexity. After a minimum of six years' cellar aging, and a light dosage of six grams per liter, this cuvée, produced in limited quantities, is ready to be enjoyed.

Vinification:

Harvested by hand, aged for a minimum of 6 years in the cellar.

Dosage: 6gr/l.

Color:

Bright gold.

Nose:

Beautiful aromatic complexity, with notes of candied fruit and quince jelly mixed with smoky, roasted aromas.

Palate:

This champagne, with its clean, dynamic structure, is beautifully balanced. The finish is incredibly long, sustained by a beautiful iodized mineral flavor.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Comté or aged Gouda, game birds, bitter chocolate dessert.

Cellar aging:

From now on

"Only the best." Mumm’s founder had one unwavering goal: absolute quality. This dedication has endured, embodied for nearly 15 years by the talented cellar master Didier Mariotti. Under his leadership, the Maison regained its prestige, creating cuvées for enthusiasts of lively, refined champagnes that reach the pinnacle of excellence. Today, Laurent Fresnet carries on this legacy, committed to the same standards and vision.

In 2016, Maison Mumm launched an exclusive line of ultra-premium champagnes—the RSRV range—available only to a select circle of “friends of the Maison.” This tradition dates back to the 19th century with Mumm de Cramant, accessible only to a privileged few.
