Wine:

The 2022 Red Rully perfectly captures the essence of ripe Pinot Noir from this excellent vintage, with remarkable purity and an abundance of flavor. The oak is well-integrated, supporting a full, dense structure that remains fresh and precise. A delightful wine to enjoy over the next few years; a little decanting or a generous glass will enhance its character.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, totally de-stemmed, macerated for 1 to 2 weeks and fermented. Aged in barrels, 15 to 20% of which are new, for 10 to 14 months.

Color:

Intense, brilliant red with carmine highlights.

Nose:

After aeration, the profile becomes pure, with abundant fruit notes and a well-balanced touch of oak.

Palate:

With a precise, full-bodied character, this fresh cuvée delivers a flavorful and well-matured expression.

Temperature:

Decant or serve in large glasses, between 14 and 16°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Red tuna carpaccio, roasted Bresse poularde, aged Normandy camembert.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2029, and even longer for enthusiasts.
