Exclusively reserved for our members, the 2016 red Hermitage Sélection de Terroirs Nobles Rives showcases a beautifully evolved, ripe Syrah with well-integrated oak. The wine exhibits robust power, a noble and velvety style derived from the granites of the appellation, particularly from the Ermite sector, one of the most prestigious plots of Hermitage, if not the most legendary! This bottle is at its prime. Rated 94/100 by the Committee.

Vinification:

Harvested by hand, macerated in concrete vats.
Maturation in vats for 10% of the harvest, then in barrels for the remaining 90%.

Color:

Dark, brilliant red with violet highlights.

Nose:

Beautifully mature, marked by an infused, velvety Pinot.

Palate:

Powerful and beautifully evolved with ripe fruit, this noble cuvée delivers velvety, infused juice.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Quail stuffed with foie gras, duck breast with cherries, suckling lamb in hay crust.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2033, and even longer for enthusiasts.
