Wine:

Aged in oak for just under two years, the 2018 Red Barolo keeps the focus on its fruit, offering a smooth and elegant style rather than a heavy, intense one. It has a silky texture with flavours of ripe cherries and stone fruits. Well-structured yet refined, with fine tannins, it’s a classic Barolo that will continue to develop beautifully over the next three years. Rated 93/100 by the Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Traditional vinification. Aged for 2 years in casks.

Color:

Light carmine red.

Nose:

Aromas of a delicate Nebbiolo infused with notes of pit fruits.

Palate:

A sleek structure with well-coated tannins, complemented by perfectly balanced oak aging. The style remains pure and silky, allowing the wine’s elegance to shine through.

Temperature:

Serve at 14 to 16°C.
